The band “Lizzy McPretty” from Leipzig, Germany has found their very own sound. The unusual line-up of the trio (git, tb, dr, voc) opens up fresh, unspoilt sound worlds and so spherical jazz sounds can be found next to an authentic chicken picking guitar and bluesy melodies exist next to stomping country rhythms. Here you can hear craftsmanship and handmade music with a lot of love for detail. The band moves light-footedly between the genres and uses typical country clichés on the one hand, but knows just as well how to surprise with unexpected pop sounds
